Overview
- ANSES formalized the Domicilio Electrónico de la Seguridad Social in Resolution 262/2026 published in the Boletín Oficial, creating an official digital channel for notices and acts.
- People aged 16 and over who manage or receive ANSES benefits can opt in through Mi ANSES by validating a correo electrónico and the new messages appear in the platform’s 'Mi Buzón'.
- Notifications placed in Mi Buzón are legally perfected at 0:00 on the first business day after they become available and an emailed alert is only a courtesy that cannot be used to claim lack of notice.
- If the system is down for eight hours or more, ANSES must report the outage and any notices affected will be perfected on the first business day after service is restored.
- The measure is part of rules from the law of Bases to digitize procedures and ANSES said it will issue a second-stage regulation to extend the electronic address to legal representatives and administrative agents.
