ANSES Confirms October Pension Update and Keeps $70,000 Bonus for Low-Income Retirees

The CPI-linked rule set by Decree 274/24 drives a roughly 1.9% rise while a vetoed bid to raise the supplement leaves the fixed top-up unchanged.

Overview

  • Benefits for October rise about 1.88–1.9% based on August INDEC inflation, covering pensions and social assignments.
  • The updated amounts include a minimum base of $326,304.88 and $396,304.88 with the bonus; PUAM $261,016.96 ($331,016.96 with bonus); PNC $228,381.85 ($298,381.85 with bonus); and a maximum of $2,195,498.72 without bonus.
  • The $70,000 supplement is paid in full at the minimum and proportionally up to a total near $396,305, with those above that cutoff excluded; eligible groups include SIPA retirees, PUAM and PNC beneficiaries, including mothers of seven.
  • ANSES published an October payment calendar by DNI running from October 8 to 28, with deposits scheduled for Friday the 10th flagged for possible reprogramming after the holiday was moved.
  • The continuation of the nominal $70,000 bonus follows the Presidency’s veto of a congressional plan to increase it, and the agency signaled that dates affected by the new holiday could be adjusted.
