ANSES Begins Paying AUH 20% Withheld After Libreta Submissions

Presenting the Libreta online or in person lets families recover the 20% withheld by validating health, vaccination, school records.

Overview

  • ANSES is receiving Libreta AUH submissions to liquidate the 20% withheld during 2025, with media updates published on Saturday confirming the process is open to beneficiaries.
  • To start the claim beneficiaries must generate the Libreta in Mi ANSES, print it, have it completed and signed by the school or health center, photograph the single-page form as a JPG under 3 MB with all four corners visible, and upload it to Mi ANSES.
  • If a beneficiary cannot upload the image, ANSES accepts the completed Libreta at any office without a prior appointment so the claim can still be filed in person.
  • ANSES published example maximum totals for 12 months of retention — about $274,441 per child and $893,658.20 for a child with disability — and the final payment will be proportional to the months the AUH was paid for each child.
  • Payment is not automatic: ANSES validates each submission and typically credits the retained 20% within up to 60 days, so families should track the claim status in Mi ANSES and expect delays if images are low quality or incomplete.
