Another strong earthquake strikes Afghanistan's Herat province

At least 3 major earthquakes have struck Afghanistan's Herat province in the past week.
The most recent was a magnitude 6.3 quake on Sunday, October 15.
Over 1,000 people have been killed in the previous quakes, mostly women and children.
Entire villages have been flattened, leaving survivors homeless.
Aftershocks and new quakes continue to hit the region, injuring more people and damaging buildings.
