Despite selling for $2.02 million over the asking price, the renowned photographer incurred a $680,000 loss on the sale.

Annie Leibovitz sold her Upper West Side duplex for $10.62 million, above the asking price but below her purchase price.
The duplex, located at 88 Central Park West, boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and various luxurious amenities.
Leibovitz originally purchased the property for $11.24 million in 2014 and listed it for $8.6 million four months ago.
The new owners are Kindle creator Gregg E. Zehr and lead Apple lawyer Kim M. Cooper.
The sale reflects Leibovitz's decision to downsize as the apartment became 'too big' for her after her daughters grew up.
