Overview

  • Assistant Christian Batty confessed that he panicked and released the three rabbits in Prospect Park after obtaining them via a Facebook Marketplace listing.
  • Local Facebook, Reddit and Instagram sleuths linked the bunnies found Aug. 4 and Aug. 7 to Delvey’s Aug. 7 city shoot by matching their fur patterns.
  • Anna Delvey shared screenshots of Batty’s admission, denied any role in sourcing or dumping the animals, and donated $1,000 to All About Rabbits Rescue.
  • Photographer Jasper Soloff’s attorney stated that he had no knowledge of how the rabbits were acquired or what happened to them after the shoot.
  • Rescuer Terry Chao and volunteer foster families are providing care for the rabbits as advocates urge clearer sourcing and care protocols for live animals on shoots.
