Anmol Bishnoi Deported From US, Arrested in Delhi With NIA Given 11 Days' Custody

The NIA will interrogate him to extract details of the Bishnoi syndicate’s overseas operations.

Overview

  • The US Department of Homeland Security notified the Siddique family that he was removed from American soil on November 18, 2025.
  • He landed in New Delhi on November 19 and was arrested at IGI Airport before a Delhi court remanded him to 11 days of NIA custody.
  • He is accused in the Baba Siddique killing in Mumbai, the April 2024 firing outside Salman Khan’s residence, and the 2022 Sidhu Moosewala murder probe.
  • The NIA had charge-sheeted him in March 2023 for allegedly aiding Lawrence Bishnoi and designated terrorist Goldy Brar between 2020 and 2023, describing him as the syndicate’s principal overseas handler.
  • US agencies detained him in November 2024 for illegal entry, with the FBI confirming his identity, and Punjab Police say they will seek custody after the NIA’s interrogation.
