Anmol Bishnoi Deported From US, Arrested in Delhi by NIA

Interrogation is expected to yield leads on the Bishnoi syndicate’s overseas pipelines.

  • U.S. Department of Homeland Security notified Baba Siddique’s family that Bishnoi was removed from American soil on November 18 before his return to India on November 19.
  • The National Investigation Agency took custody at Delhi’s IGI Airport and is set to produce him in court for remand and questioning.
  • Investigators link him to the 2024 murder of former minister Baba Siddique, the April 2024 firing outside Salman Khan’s home, and the 2022 killing of Sidhu Moosewala.
  • Bishnoi faces at least 18 cases nationwide, carried a ₹10 lakh NIA reward, and allegedly ran his brother Lawrence’s operations from abroad via encrypted channels.
  • He allegedly fled India on a forged passport, was detained by U.S. immigration in 2024, and, per reports, arrived on a deportation flight that also carried other Indian nationals being removed.
