Overview
- ANMAT enacted Disposición 5719/2025 on August 11 to prohibit the manufacture and commercialization of the Wondercow “Dietary Supplement – Colostrum, Restore & Revitalize” nationwide.
- The measure followed an Instituto Nacional de Alimentos investigation that found no records of the product’s import authorization or sanitary registration.
- ANMAT determined the supplement violated Article 4 of Law 18.284 and Annex II of Decree 2126/71 by bypassing mandatory import procedures.
- The ban covers every presentation, lot and expiration date and extends to both physical stores and e-commerce sites.
- This action continues a series of late July and early August dispositions targeting unregistered supplements and consumer goods as part of ANMAT’s public health enforcement.
