ANMAT Bans Unregistered Cheese, Supplement and Medical Devices Nationwide

After inspections plus a theft report confirmed falsified labels, missing registrations and lost traceability, the regulator published new Boletín Oficial measures.

Overview

  • Disposiciones 6669/2025, 6671/2025, 6693/2025 and 6696/2025 prohibit sale, use and distribution across Argentina, including e‑commerce, with the orders signed by Nélida Agustina Bisio.
  • “Queso Cremoso, Quesos y Lácteos La Agustina” was pulled for using nonexistent registration numbers and lacking establishment and product records, following a DIPA alert and an INAL finding that the product is illegal.
  • ANMAT barred the “Dietary Supplement GABA Supports Relaxation – High Potency” (Swanson) after confirming no registration or legal import history, meaning its traceability, composition and safety cannot be assured.
  • The fingertip pulse oximeter labeled “JASON INT’L TRADING HK LIMITED – Made in P.R.C.” was seized as a sample at Medikohn/Droguería Valtodano in Córdoba and banned for lacking importer identification, RPPTM registration and sanitary authorization.
  • Specific ResMed units—including Stellar 150 ventilators, Astral 150 respirators and an H4I humidifier—were banned after Air Liquide reported them stolen, with authorities notified to coordinate removals because their condition cannot be verified.
