ANMAT Bans T’ECNOLISS Hair Straighteners, Limpimax Bleach Line and Soprano ICE Device Nationwide

The move follows inspections that found absent registrations, with labels and import records impossible to verify.

Overview

  • ANMAT issued Disposiciones 7322/2025, 7352/2025 and 7353/2025 ordering the immediate prohibition of use, sale, distribution and advertising across Argentina.
  • Unregistered T’ECNOLISS hair-straightening products were detected in a Ramos Mejía shop, with ANMAT warning such items may contain formaldehyde that poses acute and long-term health risks.
  • All Limpimax bleach and cleaners were banned after labels showed nonexistent registration numbers and unverifiable addresses, with promotions traced to social media posts.
  • A Soprano ICE – Alma depilation unit and head found in Chubut lacked lawful importation, and Sirex Médica S.A., the local registrant, confirmed it had not imported or sold the devices.
  • The measures were published in the Boletín Oficial with the signature of administrator Nélida Agustina Bisio, and authorities were notified to enforce withdrawals as the public is urged to stop using the affected products.
