ANMAT Bans Seven Coffee Products Over False Labels, Missing Registrations

The order follows an INAL probe that found missing sanitary registrations with false labeling.

Overview

  • Through Disposición 8385/2025 published in the Boletín Oficial, ANMAT halted production, packaging and sales nationwide, including online, for the affected coffees.
  • The action targets items from Caffé del Doge, Caffé del Ponte Rialto and Café Sol, including Doge Rosso Blend, Intenso Blend, Café Clásico, Café Colombia, Café Gourmet, Línea Baristas and Expresso Café Crema.
  • Inspectors traced the case from a complaint about RNE Nº 02-033393 on a Caffé del Doge label to a Caffé del Doge outlet, then to supplier Junio 1995 SRL and the Café Sol plant in La Matanza.
  • Authorities reported the Café Sol facility lacked valid RNE/RNPA, found products with inactive or incorrect numbers, took samples and ordered preventive intervention.
  • ANMAT initiated sanitary summary proceedings against Caffé del Doge Argentina – Junio 1995 SRL and the Café Sol plant holder, and it banned any product that bears RNPA EXP. Nº 4050-141467.
