ANMAT Bans 18 Supplements, Two Oils and an Unregistered Tirzepatide Nationwide

Inspections with lab tests confirmed false labeling, invalid registrations, adulteration, prompting the action.

Overview

  • Dispositions 8186/2025, 8201/2025, 8202/2025 and 8203/2025 were published in the Boletín Oficial, ordering immediate nationwide prohibitions and withdrawals across physical and online sales.
  • Eighteen supplements from Grupo Bio Fit SRL were banned after ASSAL and INAL documented expired RNPA numbers, an RNE that had been deactivated, no municipal authorization, no technical director and missing traceability records.
  • “Valle de Beraca” extra-virgin olive oil was deemed apocryphal for displaying nonexistent RNE/RNPA identifiers, while “Ecoliva Blend” was judged adulterated after fatty-acid profiling matched refined soybean oil and failed the free-acidity parameter.
  • Use, sale and distribution of “TIRZEC 5” (tirzepatide 5 mg/0.5 ml) were prohibited as the product lacks sanitary registration in Argentina, with authorities noting unknown origin, composition and manufacturing conditions.
  • The measures apply to any presentation, lot and expiration date, and ANMAT urged consumers, retailers and distributors to remove stock and report sightings through its official channels.
