- Anker introduced an unnamed “personal fabric printer” at IFA 2026 that the company says can print directly on garments and on transfer film using direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-film (DTF) modes.
- The company showed the product on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, and set an early-2027 launch window while withholding final specifications and retail pricing.
- Anker also announced concrete upgrades for its existing E1 UV printer, including a Roll-to-Film attachment for longer jobs and a bidirectional firmware update it says will double printing speed.
- DTG pushes ink straight onto soft, breathable fabrics for a softer feel while DTF prints on a film that is heat-pressed onto stiffer materials, and Anker says the new printer will handle light and dark fabrics plus special-effect films.
