• Kujur confirmed qualification by winning the 200m in 20.63 seconds at the National Inter-State Championships in Chennai, lifting his Road to Tokyo ranking.
• The World Athletics Championships begin on September 13 in Tokyo, where the 22-year-old from Chhattisgarh will make his debut.
• This season he set national records in the 200m at 20.32 seconds at the Asian Athletics Championships and in the 100m at 10.18 seconds in Greece.
• He also helped the 4x100m team of Gurindervir Singh, Manikanta and Amlan Borgohain lower the national relay mark to 38.69 seconds.
