- The festival runs October 17–19 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood, preceded by an October 13 preview of Phil Johnston’s The Twits at the Egyptian Theatre.
- Opening night features the West Coast premiere of Mamoru Hosoda’s Scarlet, the Centerpiece is Ugo Bienvenu’s Arco in its Los Angeles premiere, and closing night hosts the United States premiere of Little Amélie or the Character of Rain.
- The international competition slate includes All You Need Is Kill, Chao, Decorado, I Am Frankelda, Lesbian Space Princess, A Story About Fire, and Nobody, described as China’s highest‑grossing 2D animated film.
- Special events include the West Coast premiere of Chainsaw Man — The Movie: Reze Arc, a newly remastered 3D print of Paranorman paired with the new short Paranorman: The Thrifting, and a U.S. premiere cut of I Am Frankelda.
- Industry sessions feature a work‑in‑progress panel for Zootopia 2, a filmmaker panel for KPOP Demon Hunters, a WIP for Pretty Pretty Please I Don’t Want To Be A Magical Girl, four shorts programs including Best of Annecy with WIA, and a student showcase.
