• Construction walls now completely enclose the former courtyard, leaving most of the space inaccessible to guests.
• New panels on the walls display official artwork and “More Magic Coming Soon” signage, including an updated poster that restores the Lost Boy character.
• Star Wars: Launch Bay has permanently closed and is slated to become The Magic of Disney Animation with a Sorcerer Hat facade modeled on Burbank’s Roy E. Disney Animation Building.
• Access to The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure remains available via alternate routes near Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, with Cast Members guiding crowds.
• Visible demolition began October 11 with the removal of the awning at the Disney Jr. theater entrance.
