Animated series 'Strange Planet' based on popular webcomic coming to Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is releasing a 10-episode animated series called Strange Planet on August 9, based on Nathan W. Pyle's popular webcomic.
The show is co-created by Pyle and Rick and Morty's Dan Harmon and explores human traditions through a humorous lens.
Strange Planet retains Pyle's signature art style while incorporating Harmon's themes of family, failure, and growth.
The series features a notable voice cast and is produced by Apple Studios and ShadowMachine.
The first three episodes premiere August 9, followed by weekly releases leading up to the September 27 finale.
