Angels GM Confirms Mike Trout Will Not Be Traded

Los Angeles Angels general manager Perry Minasian has confirmed that three-time AL MVP Mike Trout will not be traded, despite ongoing speculation about his future.
Trout, who is under contract through 2030, has missed significant portions of the past three seasons due to injuries, but remains a key player for the Angels.
Despite his injuries, Trout was named an AL All-Star for the 11th time in 2023, although he played in just 82 games due to a broken bone in his left hand.
Minasian also confirmed that the Angels have no plans to move Trout out of center field, despite his recent injury setbacks.
The Angels are currently in the midst of eight consecutive losing seasons and nine consecutive non-playoff seasons, both the longest streaks in the majors.
