Angels Acquire Veteran Infielder Mike Moustakas From Rockies After Record Win

The Angels traded for Mike Moustakas, a veteran third baseman, from the Colorado Rockies following their 25-1 win over Colorado.
The Rockies received minor league pitcher Connor Van Scoyoc in exchange for Moustakas.
Moustakas was batting .270 with 4 home runs and 17 RBIs in 37 games with the Rockies this season.
Angels manager Phil Nevin said Moustakas will split time at third base as the Angels try to clinch a playoff spot.
Moustakas has played in 5 postseasons, including as the starting third baseman for the 2015 World Series champion Kansas City Royals.
