Angela Stanford Sets Record with 98th Consecutive Major Appearance

Angela Stanford receives an exemption to compete in the 2024 Chevron Championship, marking a historic 98th straight major tournament appearance.

Angela Stanford, a Texas native, has been granted an exemption to play in the Chevron Championship, setting a new record for the longest active major streak in professional golf.
The Chevron Championship, set for April 18-21 at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, will be the first of the five majors on the LPGA Tour schedule this year.
Stanford, who joined the LPGA Tour in 2001, has seven career LPGA victories, including one major win at the 2018 Evian Championship.
Stanford has represented the United States in six Solheim Cup events from 2003-15 and served as an assistant captain on the 2023 team.
