Angel City FC Extends Contracts for Alyssa and Gisele Thompson Through 2028

The Thompson sisters, key players for club and country, will continue their careers in Los Angeles with multi-year deals.

Alyssa Thompson, 20, signed a three-year extension, while her sister Gisele, 19, agreed to a two-year extension with Angel City FC.
The contracts will keep the sisters with the club through the 2028 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) season.
Alyssa, the youngest player ever drafted in NWSL history, has tallied nine goals and nine assists in 53 matches since joining Angel City in 2023.
Gisele, a defender, debuted with Angel City in 2024 and appeared in 16 matches, earning her first professional assist during the season.
Both players have represented the U.S. on national teams, with Alyssa playing in the 2023 Women’s World Cup and Gisele contributing to the U-20 World Cup in 2024.
