Angel Cabrera Reinstated to PGA Tour Following Prison Sentence

Two-time major champion Angel Cabrera has been reinstated to the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions following a two-year prison sentence for gender violence.
Cabrera was convicted in 2021 for threats and harassment of two of his ex-partners, and was released on parole in August 2023.
In an interview with Golf Digest, Cabrera expressed remorse for his actions and stated his desire to clean up his image.
Cabrera is currently undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction and has returned to competitive golf, tying for 10th in a recent event on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica developmental circuit.
It remains uncertain whether Cabrera will be invited to return to the Masters, where he won in 2009.
