- Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Caitriona Balfe have joined the ensemble with Fred Hechinger, Kit Connor and D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, with further casting including Manuel Garcia Rulfo and David Furr.
- The film is written and directed by Haigh as an adaptation of Colm Tóibín’s short story set in the mountains as a family prepares for the coming winter.
- Production is led by Tristan Goligher for The Bureau, Chad Oakes and Mike Frislev for Nomadic Pictures, and Michael Elliott.
