Andrew Cripps Joins Disney as Head of Global Theatrical Distribution

The veteran executive, formerly of Warner Bros., will oversee worldwide theatrical distribution across Disney's major film banners.

Andrew Cripps has been appointed as Disney's new head of global theatrical distribution, effective March 3, 2025.
He replaces Tony Chambers, who has transitioned to lead Disney operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Cripps brings over three decades of experience, having previously served as Warner Bros.' international distribution chief and held key roles at 20th Century Fox, Paramount, and IMAX.
In his new role, Cripps will manage worldwide theatrical releases across Disney's seven major banners, including Marvel Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios.
Disney's 2025 film slate includes high-profile releases such as 'Snow White,' 'Zootopia 2,' 'Avatar: Fire and Ash,' and Marvel's 'Thunderbolts.'
