Andreas Schicker Appointed as Hoffenheim's New Sporting Director

Andreas Schicker, 38, has been named the new Sporting Director of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, succeeding Alexander Rosen.
Schicker previously served as Sporting Director at Austrian club Sturm Graz, where he helped the team achieve significant successes, including a league double and Champions League qualification.
Frank Kramer, who was interim Sporting Director, will continue to support Schicker as Sport Director, focusing on integrating academy talents into the professional squad.
The appointment has been well received by Hoffenheim's leadership, with majority shareholder Dietmar Hopp praising Schicker's clear playing philosophy and successful track record.
Frank Briel returns to his former role as Financial Director, having been with the club from 2006 to May 2023.
