Andrea Lübcke Elected Co-Leader of Brandenburg's Green Party

Andrea Lübcke, a regional council leader, won 60.5% of delegate votes to become the new co-chair of Brandenburg's Green Party.
She defeated Linda Weiß, who secured 35.8% of the vote, and Judith Paeper, who received just under 3%.

The leadership change follows the Greens' failure to secure seats in the 2024 Brandenburg state parliament elections.
Outgoing co-leaders Hanna Große Holtrup and Alexandra Pichl stepped aside to enable new leadership and direction for the party.
