Disney+ has released a behind-the-scenes featurette for Andor Season 2, confirming its April 22 premiere with a three-episode launch.
The season will feature the Ghorman Massacre, a tragic event in Star Wars lore where Imperial forces slaughter peaceful protesters, catalyzing the Rebellion's formation.
The series will chronicle Cassian Andor's deepening role in the Rebel Alliance and Mon Mothma's transition from Senator to rebel leader after the massacre.
Returning cast members include Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, and Alan Tudyk as K-2SO, with new appearances by other fan-favorite characters.
Season 2 will unfold across 12 episodes in four chapters, each spanning a year, culminating in events leading directly to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
