Overview
- On the fifth day of the festival, idol immersions in Nandyal, Adoni and other towns were completed peacefully under close police supervision.
- Police deployed nearly 1,000 personnel in Adoni with drones and CCTVs watching routes, while about 850 personnel managed operations in Nandyal under SP Adhiraj Singh Rana.
- Roughly 1,500 idols were installed across the undivided Kurnool region, with key immersions at Rampuram pond in Adoni and at Vinayak Ghat at Cheruvu Katta in Nandyal.
- Creative displays continued to be major attractions, including an S-400-themed idol at Hyderabad’s Chappal Bazar, a laser-show Ganesh in Warasiguda and a 54,000‑bangle idol in Nellore.
- North Andhra enabled thousands of registered pandals through a single-window system as the Pollution Control Board promoted eco-friendly practices by distributing over 4,000 clay idols and cloth bags.
