Andhra Woman Discovers Dead Body in Parcel Meant for Construction Aid

The package, believed to contain electrical appliances, instead contained a decomposing corpse and a ransom letter demanding ₹1.3 crore.

The incident occurred in Yendagandi village, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, where Naga Tulasi received the shocking parcel on Thursday night.
Tulasi had sought financial assistance from the Kshatriya Seva Samithi NGO for her under-construction house and was expecting electrical appliances as promised by the organization.
Upon opening the box, Tulasi discovered the body of an unidentified man, aged around 45, along with a letter demanding ₹1.3 crore, allegedly linked to a 2008 loan taken by her missing husband.
The police have launched an investigation, including questioning representatives of the NGO, verifying missing person reports, and conducting an autopsy on the deceased to determine the cause of death.
Authorities are also probing potential family disputes and the disappearance of Tulasi's brother-in-law, who has been unaccounted for since the parcel's delivery.
