Overview
- Andhra Pradesh procured 20,64,673 MT from 3,24,296 farmers in roughly two weeks, transferring ₹4,609.89 crore directly into bank accounts.
- The state recorded a single-day intake of 1,46,607 MT on December 10, the highest of the current drive so far.
- Within 15 days, Andhra Pradesh despatched 1,71,651 MT as CMR to the Food Corporation of India, moving paddy quickly into central stocks.
- To keep grain moving, authorities mobilised 32,000 lorries plus tractors and special trains and granted inter-district movement to 106 rice mills in Krishna after heavy rains.
