Overview

  • The state has earmarked ₹4,000 crore for a two-phase Quantum Mission running from 2025–27 for infrastructure and research to 2027–30 for commercialisation and global leadership.
  • CM Naidu has instructed officials to design Amaravati’s Quantum Valley with iconic structures akin to Silicon Valley and Hyderabad’s Hi-Tech City.
  • A June 30 workshop in Vijayawada will bring together startups, academia, IT, pharma, agro and healthcare representatives to frame the Quantum Mission’s strategic roadmap.
  • The Swarnandhra-2047 task force, chaired by Naidu and co-chaired by Tata Sons chief N. Chandrasekaran, includes CII and industry leaders to pinpoint economic growth opportunities.
  • The task force will draft a long-term plan to position Andhra Pradesh as a leading industrial hub by 2047 with backing from major corporations and policy support.
