Overview

• The state cabinet approved the order on Friday, clearing the rollout of the Auto Drivers’ Sevalo scheme.
• A total of 2,90,669 beneficiaries have been identified, with about ₹436 crore slated for disbursal.
• Funds will be credited directly into the bank accounts of eligible autorickshaw, taxi and maxi cab drivers.
• Eligibility is limited to Andhra Pradesh residents who own and drive registered passenger vehicles with valid licence, Aadhaar and ration card, and excludes drivers of rented vehicles.
• A beneficiary list released on September 24 can be checked via the GSWS-NBM portal or local secretariats, with a WhatsApp channel available for grievance redress.
