• Andhra Pradesh confirmed the District Selection Committee exam will be held every year, following a recent Mega DSC that filled 16,347 teacher posts.
• Officials were told to make foundational literacy and numeracy a guaranteed right, with ASER 2024 placing the state 14th and reporting only 37.5% of Grade 5 students could read Grade 2 Telugu.
• The government released the final ₹325 crore tranche under Talli Ki Vandanam and directed immediate disbursal of 2024–25 fee reimbursement funds.
