Andhra Pradesh to Distribute Smart Ration Cards to 1.45 Crore Beneficiaries From August 25

  • Andhra Pradesh has completed 96.05% of KYC requirements for ration cards, exempting 11.47 lakh individuals under five or over 80 years old
  • Over 15 lakh change requests have been approved and 9.87 lakh new members added, bringing the state’s total beneficiary count to 4.29 crore split between central and state supplies
  • Ration shops will run fixed two-shift schedules with continued home delivery for vulnerable pensioners, and over ₹1,500 crore has been disbursed under the Deepam-2 LPG subsidy scheme
