Andhra Pradesh to Disburse Rs 7,000 to 4.7 Million Farmers Under Annadatha Sukhibhava

Credits follow a near-complete e-KYC drive accompanied by grievance redressal ahead of the scheme’s formal launch at Darsi tomorrow.

Overview

  • The Andhra Pradesh government has earmarked Rs 2,343 crore and the central government Rs 831 crore for the scheme’s first instalment.
  • A total of 46.85 lakh farmers will receive Rs 7,000 each on August 2, combining a state disbursement of Rs 5,000 and a Centre contribution of Rs 2,000.
  • Officials report that e-KYC verification is nearly complete for target beneficiaries and that 58,464 of 59,750 registered grievances have been cleared ahead of disbursement.
  • A toll-free helpline (155251) and a dedicated grievance portal have been established to resolve any remaining queries from farmers.
  • Annadatha Sukhibhava, a key promise from CM Naidu’s Super Six manifesto, will channel an annual Rs 20,000 benefit through three instalments under the PM-Kisan framework.
