Andhra Pradesh Sets Nov. 24–29 ‘Rytanna – Mee Kosam’ Farmer Outreach, Workshops on Dec. 3

Naidu frames the drive as cash-backed adoption of agritech alongside natural farming.

Overview

  • MLAs and officials will visit farmers’ homes from November 24 to 29, with state-run Rythu Seva Kendras hosting workshops on December 3.
  • The campaign will promote the state’s five-point Panchasutras: water security, demand-based cropping, agritech integration, food processing and sustained government support.
  • The government says ₹6,310 crore has been credited in two instalments under Annadata Sukhibhava–PM Kisan, covering about 46.5 lakh farmers.
  • Naidu directed rapid expansion of food processing units across all MSME parks and stepped-up awareness on FPOs, value addition, scientific packaging and market linkages.
  • The outreach will push mechanisation, drones and digital tools alongside natural and organic practices with certification and Rythu Bazaar promotion, and it extends to dairy, poultry, horticulture and sericulture farmers.
