Andhra Pradesh Sets $120 Billion Deal Slate for Vizag Summit

The Naidu government says the event will showcase its “Speed of Doing Business” model, with a five-year investment target of $1 trillion.

  • The November 14–15 CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam is slated to formalise 410 agreements worth $120 billion, which officials say could generate about 750,000 jobs.
  • Renew announced a ₹82,000 crore plan in Andhra Pradesh spanning solar ingot and wafer manufacturing through to green hydrogen production.
  • Tillman Global signed an MoU for a ₹15,000 crore, 300‑MW hyperscale data center campus in Visakhapatnam, with 40 acres allocated and 200–300 direct plus 800–1,000 indirect jobs projected by 2028.
  • The government says the state attracted $120 billion over the past 16–17 months and plans groundbreakings for ₹2.7 lakh crore of projects during the summit, which is expected to host 464 delegates from 62 countries.
  • Minister Nara Lokesh highlighted a drive to create two million jobs in five years and cited marquee projects including ArcelorMittalNippon Steel’s plant, Google’s Data City, BPCL’s ₹1 lakh crore refinery, and NTPC’s ₹1.65 lakh crore green hydrogen hub.
