Overview
- The state approved the order on December 24 under Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav, citing IMCC 2020 regulations and NCISM guidance to integrate traditional and modern systems.
- Postgraduate-qualified Ayurvedic practitioners who complete prescribed training may independently perform a defined list of general surgical, ENT and ophthalmological procedures, including wound suturing, piles and fissure treatment, and skin grafting.
