• As of July 6, the government has handed out 35.94 lakh kits to Classes 1–10, each valued at about ₹2,279 including pre-stitched uniforms.
• The total ₹953.71 crore budget comprises ₹778.68 crore from Andhra Pradesh and ₹175.03 crore from the central government.
• Three-stage quality checks by the Quality Council of India and “quality walls” at mandal points ensure transparency and standards compliance.
• Online e-procurement saved approximately ₹63.80 crore while securing high-quality uniforms, shoes, stationery and dictionaries.
• Named after former President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan to remove political branding, the kits include dictionaries in regional and minority languages.
