Overview
- Andhra Pradesh announced the 1,372-metre diaphragm wall at the Polavaram irrigation project is complete, which Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called a key milestone.
- The completed wall clears the foundation stage so crews can speed up construction of the Earth-cum-Rock Fill dam that will store and channel water for farms and towns.
