Andhra Pradesh Clears ₹1.14 Lakh Crore in Projects, Anchored by ₹87,520 Crore Google-Linked Data Centre

The state moved to fast-track implementation by assigning special officers to major investments.

  • The SIPB’s 11th meeting approved 30 proposals across IT, fuel, tourism, aerospace and food processing, with about 67,000 jobs expected.
  • Raiden Infotech, a Google subsidiary, received approval to build what officials call India’s largest data centre in Visakhapatnam, spanning campuses at Tarluvada, Adavivaram and Rambilli.
  • The ₹87,520 crore Raiden investment was described by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as the country’s single-largest FDI to date.
  • Officials said the new clearances take claimed investment inflows over the past 15 months to more than ₹6.70 lakh crore.
  • Naidu outlined new economic regions and ordered a master plan to strengthen industrial connectivity, while directing that the Jindal Steel Plant be expedited for completion by 2028.
