Andhra Pradesh Clears ₹1 Lakh Crore, Fast-Tracks Projects Ahead of Partnership Summit

  • Andhra Pradesh’s Cabinet approved investment proposals worth ₹1 lakh crore along with major land allotments and sector pushes that include a Renewable Energy Manufacturing Zone in Bapatla and a Drone Industries Park at Orvakal.
  • Policy decisions include a Quantum Computing Policy, an MoU with Singapore to be signed at the Nov. 14–15 Partnership Summit, and financing steps to accelerate Amaravati infrastructure and state digital initiatives.
  • Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually laid foundations for seven industries in Kuppam totaling ₹2,203 crore, with officials citing 22,330 direct jobs across projects spanning dairy, EVs, training, and a women-focused industrial park.
  • On Nov. 11, Naidu is set to virtually launch MSME parks and facilities in Chittoor worth ₹56.76 crore across 116 acres, including an MSME Industrial Park at Venkatapuram and a flatted factory complex at Pandarlapalli.
  • Kurnool will see foundations laid for nine projects on Nov. 11, including Reliance Consumer Products’ units (₹1,622 crore and ₹768 crore), Sigachi Industries (₹285 crore), and a Flying Training Organisation at Orvakal airport (₹400 crore).
