Overview
- The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet approved an ordinance to sub-categorise 59 Scheduled Castes into three groups with reservation percentages of 1%, 6.5%, and 7.5%.

- The sub-categorisation policy will be implemented across all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh, using a 200-point roster system.

- Additional decisions include allocating land for a TCS campus in Visakhapatnam to create 12,000 jobs and empowering AP CRDA for construction projects in Amaravati, including the state assembly and high court.
