Overview

  • Construction has started on roads and bridges under a ₹2,404 crore plan to connect more than 2,075 tribal villages over the next five years.
  • Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, projects worth ₹2,373 crore are underway to deliver clean drinking water to 13,816 tribal habitations by 2026.
  • Integrated Tribal Development Agencies have launched construction of multi-specialty hospitals in regions such as Sitampeta, Parvathipuram and Rampachodavaram with ₹50 crore allocated per facility.
  • Multiple MoUs have been signed to boost tribal livelihoods, including pacts for global branding of Araku coffee and development of tourism homestays.
