Andhra Pradesh Awards ₹2.5 Crore, Kadapa House Site and Group-I Job to World Cup Spinner Shree Charani

  • Former India captain Mithali Raj accompanied Charani during the meeting with the Chief Minister, where the player shared her World Cup experience.
  • Charani took 14 wickets in the tournament, including a pivotal lbw of Anneke Bosch in the final, after making her international debut in April 2025.
  • Naidu hailed the team’s achievement as a model for women athletes as India defeated South Africa by 52 runs in Navi Mumbai, and Charani presented him a squad-signed T-shirt.
