Overview
- At a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the state cleared proposals worth ₹1 lakh crore, including major IT, manufacturing and energy projects and key land allotments across multiple districts.
- The approvals include an AP Quantum Computing Policy (2025–30) and plans for an Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre, targeting about $1 billion in investment, 5,000 skilled jobs and more than 100 startups.
- Naidu inaugurated an MSME park in Prakasam district and virtually inaugurated or laid foundations for about 49–50 other MSME parks across 17 districts, alongside 38 mega units worth ₹25,256 crore and 1,597 MSMEs tied to the parks.
- The Chief Minister directed officials to craft an action plan for the Visakha Economic Region, projected at $100–115 billion in investments, with priorities spanning port-linked cargo corridors, green energy and a healthcare hub in Visakhapatnam.
- Project groundwork advanced at the district level, including Reliance, Sigachi and flight-training facilities in Kurnool and seven industries in Kuppam worth ₹2,203 crore, while officials say the Nov. 14–15 Partnership Summit is expected to yield about 410 MoUs exceeding $100 billion.
