Overview

• Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed Policy 4.0 to position the state as a centre for advanced defence technology and attract up to ₹1 lakh crore in investments

• Tirupati is designated as the site for a new DRDO Centre of Excellence tasked with leading research and innovation in defence technologies
• To date, 23 companies have committed ₹22,000 crore and created 17,000 jobs, with Bharat Forge and Millimetre Wave preparing investments in the Madakasira cluster
