• The Santa Clara County Coroner confirmed on July 3 that remains found under an Anderson Lake bridge on July 2 belong to 18-year-old Marissa DiNapoli.
• Police are actively seeking person of interest Martin Mendoza, who was last seen with DiNapoli on June 29 and is believed to be driving a white Toyota Camry with plates CW87W00 or 9PTM351.
• More than 30 investigators from the Morgan Hill Police Department, Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, Homeland Security and the District Attorney’s Office are collaborating on the case.
• A community volunteer operating a drone first spotted what appeared to be human remains at the remote Anderson Lake site, prompting a law enforcement response.
• DiNapoli’s family has planned a candlelight vigil at Anderson Bridge and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Kyle Tolentino or submit anonymous tips.
