Andalusian Accreditation Agency Approves 42 Public and Five CEU Fernando III Programs, Rejects Six Public Proposals

Approved programs now await inscription in the Ministry of Science’s state registry following independent EU-mandated evaluations, with six public titles currently under appeal to the Consejo de Universidades.

Overview

  • ACCUA issued favorable verifications for 42 of 48 new public university degree and master’s programs slated for the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Universidad CEU Fernando III secured approval for five undergraduate offerings in Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Physiotherapy and Cybersecurity Engineering.
  • Six proposed public titles failed to meet ACCUA’s technical criteria and have been referred to the Consejo de Universidades for review by an independent appeals commission.
  • All ACCUA-approved programs have been forwarded to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities for inscription in the official state registry required for EU recognition.
  • The verification process is conducted by more than 100 independent evaluators from outside Andalusia to ensure impartial compliance with European quality standards.
